ST. LOUIS - A man admitted to supplying fentanyl that killed a teenager last year in Jefferson County. William Edward Martin, 23, of St. Louis County, pleaded guilty to four felonies on Friday in connection with the death. According to a federal indictment, Martin provided fentanyl to a 19-year-old who died after an overdose. Investigators say Martin sold fentanyl to the teen when they met in a Walgreens parking lot in Arnold on the evening of June 23, 2022. ‘On Fire’ film shooting in St. Louis links hope and baseball Per the indictment, surveillance video shows the victim getting into a car with Martin. A short time later, the video showed Martin reportedly dragging the victim out of his car and placing the victim in the back of another vehicle. Investigators say the victim appeared incapacitated and in medical distress. Police said the victim was found dead the next morning, and she died of a suspected overdose. Police have opened an investigation into what led up to a man’s death in the Westlake area of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to the 400 block of South Coronado Street just before 7:45 a.m. Saturday morning. A man was fatally stabbed early Thursday in San Francisco’s Mint Hill neighborhood, and a suspect was arrested, police said.The attack, during a confrontation between two men, was reported at 1:06 a.m. near Market and Octavia streets. Households from Concord to Alamo were left without power on Saturday morning after three PG&E outages affected more than 8,400 customers in the region.The outage began about 8:41 am Saturday. As of 10 a.m., the company had still not determined a cause for the outage, a PG&E representative said. The power was not expected to return until 3:30 p.m.The first affected area spans from Concord’s Dana Estates neighborhood through Canterbury Village. A second outage was registered from Walnut Creek’s Diablo Shadows and Rancho Paraiso neighborhoods down to those in Alamo, stopping just short of Monte Vista High School in Danville.A third outage overlapped with the second, with some neighborhoods in Walnut Creek not expected to regain power until 6:45 pm Saturday night.This is a developing story.
